Free SAT Prep That Actually Matches the Current Test

September 4, 2026

The SAT went digital, which means older prep material and older links no longer match the test.

Start in Bluebook. College Board’s Bluebook app is where free full-length adaptive practice tests live. It reproduces the real thing: two-module Reading and Writing, two-module Math, on-screen timer, annotation tools, formula reference, and built-in Desmos calculator. Tests are scored automatically.

Then use Khan Academy. After a Bluebook practice test, your results link you to Official SAT Prep on Khan Academy at khanacademy.org/digital-sat, which is free and built in partnership with College Board. It provides thousands of practice questions, video lessons, and hints, with skills covered at three levels: Foundations, Medium, and Advanced. From your scorecard you can open a walk-through explaining every question you missed.

Student Question Bank. Thousands of official questions filterable by section, domain, skill, and difficulty, for targeted practice between full tests.

Free live tutoring. Schoolhouse.world offers four-week small-group SAT sessions led by trained peer tutors, at no cost.

How to actually use this. Take a full test in Bluebook to get a baseline, pick no more than two weak skills per section, work them in Khan Academy and the Question Bank, then take another full test. A full test every two to three weeks teaches you more than one every weekend.

Register for the SAT through BigFuture at bigfuture.collegeboard.org.
