Your own school is often the largest single source of scholarship money you will access, and most schools have automated the matching.
Wichita State University uses ScholarshipUniverse. Log in with your myWSU ID, answer a set of profile questions, and the system matches you to eligible outside scholarship opportunities and alerts you whenever new matches appear. WSU’s new and continuing student scholarship application window runs November 1 through March 1 for full consideration.
Every other school has an equivalent. Call your financial aid office and ask two questions: “Do you have a scholarship matching portal?” and “When is your institutional scholarship application window?”
Do this before you spend hours on national search engines. Institutional awards have dramatically smaller applicant pools, and you are already admitted.
