When did you start at Pando? I was a Practicum student for the 21-22 school year, and was hired as an SSA for the 22-23 school year after graduating from WSU.
Education: Bachelors of Arts in Social Work from Wichita State University
Any pets? I have 3 dogs: Mayla, Zeus, and Bruno! I also have a pet bird: Chencho!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I like watching documentaries and learning about photography in my free time. I also love listening to music, especially 2000s “throwback” music!
“Although I have learned a great deal in my time with Pando, the most impactful realization is that my abilities and skills are well-suited for helping professions like this career. Like any other young professional fresh in their occupations, there are times in which I wonder if I have the talent to do what I do. Working in Pando has proven to me that my capabilities, along with the resources provided by the program, allow for productive and meaningful connections with students, their families, school staff, and the community. Pando encourages me to do what I do best every day. In return, I know I am making a long-lasting and influential impact on the students I serve. For that, I am very grateful!”
